Eu não sou exatamente consumista e raramente compro cosméticos... Mas depois que descobri a Feel Unique, parece que fiquei viciada? Haha.. É tão simples comprar por lá e tem várias opções, das mais baratas até as mais caras. E, apesar de eu sentir falta de produtos da MAC, por exemplo, a loja oferece uma grande variedade de marcas, com preços bons e ainda frete grátis para o mundo todo em compras acima de £10.
I'm not really a consumist person and I rarely buy cosmetics... But after I discovered Feel Unique, I think I got addicted? Hahah.. It's so simple to buy there and they have many options, since the cheapest to the expensive ones. And, although I miss offers on MAC products, for instance, the online store has a great variety of brands, with good prices and free worldwide shipping for orders over £10.
Da primeira vez que comprei, gastei mais de £30, porque assim eu poderia ganhar amostras... Só que, por algum motivo, o site não funcionou e não me ofereceu essa opção. Por conta disso, entrei em contato com a equipe e eles me deram um cupom de £3 que gastei numa outra compra que fiz na semana passada. Tudo chegou bem rápido, por volta de 3 dias úteis, e também em perfeito estado. Eles mandam numa caixa bem resistente e embalado com um filme plástico.
The first time I ordered from them, I spent more than £30, so I could get some samples... But, for some reason, the website didn't show this option while I was checking out. So I sent a message to their staff and they gave me a £3 coupon that I spent last week, with a second order. Everything arrived pretty fast, like 3 working days, and it also comes in a hard cardpaper box, protected by plastic film.
A única coisa que eu poderia reclamar deles é que o site é meio bugado. Às vezes demora muito para carregar e o mecanismo de pesquisa não é 100% quando você não sabe o que quer exatamente. Além disso, eles demoram um tempo para aprovar sua compra feita com cartão - ao menos, isso aconteceu comigo.
The only thing I could complain about them is that the website is a little bit buggy. Sometimes it takes too much to load something and the search mechanism is not really good when you don't know what you want. Also, they may take some time to confirm your payment via debit card - at least this happened to me.
Eu já tenho testado alguns produtos, tipo esse sabonete. Aqui em Lincoln, as lojas fecham sempre às 17h30~18h, então fica difícil comprar esse tipo de coisa durante a semana. Eu queria experimentar um sabonete diferente e, já que eu estava comprando outras coisas na Feel Unique, aproveitei para conhecer esse produto da Korres. Trata-se de uma marca grega que usa produtos naturais em seus cosméticos. Achei o cheiro muito bom e diria que o sabonete é até que bem hidratante, como ele propõe. Morar em um país mais frio pode ser algo difícil para quem tem pele seca como eu. Durante meus primeiros dias, tive que usar bastante hidratante no rosto, porque a área em volta das minhas narinas estava mega ressecada pelo vento e pelo frio.
I've been testing some products yet, like this soap. Here in Lincoln, the stores close at 5.30~6 pm, so it's a bit difficult for me to buy this kind of things during the week. I also wanted to try a different kind of soap and as I was buying stuff on Feel Unique, I got this product from Korres. It's a Greek brand that works with natural products. And this is a very good soap, by the way! It smells really good and it's kind of hydrating too. When you live in a country that is colder than the place you come from, it can be kind of hard for people like me, who have dry skin. During my first days here, I needed to use moisturizing cream in my face, because the region around my nostrils were super dry due to the wind and the cold weather.
Por esse mesmo motivo, também comprei um creme para as mãos. Meus dedos ficam super ressecados todos os dias... provavelmente por conta do choque térmico causado pela água gelada que sai da torneira. Estou tendo que usar produtos de limpeza com mais frequência aqui, entao isso tem danificado muito minha pele e unhas. Na falta do potinho de £1 de hidratante da Garnier, comprei o creme da Cabtree & Evelyn para testar. Não sei se vale os £5 que paguei, ainda mais porque vem pouco... mas o cheiro é muito bom e o efeito tem sido satisfatório.
For this same reason, I bought a cream for my hands. My fingers get dry every single day... probably due to the thermal shock caused by the freezing water on the sink and also because I've been using cleaning products more frequently. This has been damaging my skin and nails in a degree that it's really irritation. And as the £1 moisturizing cream by Garnier wasn't in stock, I got this cream by Cabtree & Evelyn to try. I don't know if it's worth the £5 I paid for it, mostly because it's only 25g... but the smell is great and the results have been satisfactory.
Bom, sobre os outros produtos para cabelo e maquiagem, vou acabar fazendo um post separado. Esse é mais algo introdutório (apesar de ter ficado longo) para vocês conhecerem a loja. Não sei quão difícil seria de importar para o Brasil, até porque não sei qual é o método de envio internacional deles... De qualquer maneira, acho que vale a pena gastar uns R$60 reais para ter frete grátis. O problema é não ter ideia se vai rodar na Receita ou não. Triste. :/ Mas de qualquer forma, fica a dica aí para vocês com relação ao site e aos produtos. Logo faço post sobre cabelo e maquiagem!

Well, regarding the other products for hair and makeup, I'll do another separated post. This one is more like an introduction (although it's too long already), so you can know more about the store. I'm not sure how difficult it would be for people to make an order from Brazil, but here in the UK it's really worthy and useful when you're too lazy or too busy haha... But yeah, just keep following the page for more info!
