Look do dia: Blue Dress

E lá vamos nós outra vez. :) Segunda-feira! Nesse último fim de semana, não tive hora extra, por isso tive um tempinho para passear na cidade e também sair na sexta. Fui a um pub e, por acaso, acabei conhecendo uma banda local. Gostei muito da música deles e gostaria até de ver outra apresentação, uma outra vez. Não é muito fácil de achar lugar para ouvir rock/metal em Lincoln, apesar de existir uma balada que, no fim das contas, só vai pirralho bêbado - senhor, tenho 25 anos e já estou falando assim? Ou melhor, "estou" falando assim. Quando eu tinha a idade deles, 18-19 anos, eu achava pessoas de 25 super velhas haha... 

There we go again. :) Monday! This last week, I didn't have overtime, so I could spend some time walking around the city and also hanging out during the night. I went to a  pub and, by chance, I could see a local band playing. I really enjoyed their music and I really would like to see them live again. It's that easy to find a good place to listen to rock/metal here in Lincoln, although there is a rock nightclub that, in the end, it's a place for drunk teenagers gathering - jeez, I'm 25 and I'm already talking like that? I mean, I "am" talking like that. When I was their age, 18-19 years old, I thought 25-year-old people were super old haha...

Mas falando sobre a banda, fiquei surpresa de ver como aqui tem tanta gente gostando de post-rock e post-black metal (ou relacionados). Mesmo no meu trabalho, quando respondi a uma mini-entrevistinha que eles fazem com os recém contratados, vi várias pessoas manifestando ter o mesmo gosto. Fiquei muito feliz! E estou ainda mais contente porque tenho pelo menos três shows para ir nas próximas semanas: Deafheaven, Mind.in.a.box, Lifelover + Hypothermia. Super ansiosa já! :) Mas estou também garantindo um railcard para ter descontos, já que tenho que me deslocar o tempo todo para conseguir ver todas as bandas que gostaria - sendo que, infelizmente e mesmo assim, não vou poder ir aos shows da Aesthetic Perfection e Combichrist. :( É uma desgraça como tem tanto show durante a semana...

Regarding the band, I was quite surprised when I found out that many people like post-rock and post-black metal (or related) around here. Even at work, many people left comments on an interview I did, which is for new employees, and they were saying they had more or less the same tastes in music that I do. I was very happy about that! Also, I'm even more excited by the fact that I'm attending to at least three gigs in the following weeks: Deafheaven, Mind.in.a.box, Lifelover + Hypothermia. Looking forward to all of them! :) But I'm also getting a railcard, so I'll have a discount while I need to travel all the time to see these bands - although there are some I won't be able to see, like Aesthetic Perfection, Grendel and Combichrist. :( It's a shame that they have so many gigs during the week.

Sobre o vestido, eu só posso tecer elogios! Amei a cor, amei o comprimento e o caimento. Tudo, menos o tecido. Quer dizer, ele é confortável e bonito, mas amassa demaaaais... Comprei um ferro justamente porque minhas roupas amassam muito (camisas, vestidos etc), mas essa peça é bem complicada. Normal para roupas finas e vestidos mais longos, né? Talvez valha mais a pena desamassá-lo com vapor ou aqueles vaporizadores do que ferro, no entanto.

About the dress, I can only say compliments about it! I love the color, the length and the design. Everything but the fabric. I mean, it's comfortable and beautiful, but it crumples too much... I even bought an iron because my clothes (shirts, dresses etc) crumple too easily, but this item is kind of complicated. It's something usual for longer dresses, but maybe it's better to use steam or those vaporizers.

Acho que é isso por hoje, então! Vou tentar começar a fazer posts sobre looks que uso no dia a dia, o que vocês acham? Meu Instagram talvez já esteja de saco cheio das minhas fotos, então talvez seja melhor compilar tudo por aqui haha... boa semana para todos. :)

    Deve ser maravilhoso morar num lugar legal, com gente diferente e que tem muitos shows! O vestido parece mesmo amassar bastante, mas geralmente esses são os mais confortável por conta do tecido leve <3 E sobre o look do dia a dia eu tive a ideia de: tirar fotos todos os dias e junta-las num post só no fds. Mas é só uma ideia.

      Eu vi seu comentário sobre a caixa do Facebook.. e tipo, ela ainda tá aqui no blog, mas não sei por que não tá funcionando nesse post :/ Vou tentar ver melhor isso depois.

      Pois é, pode ser também! Não sei as pessoas visitariam o blog no fds, mas vou tentar. :) Valeu pela dica.

    Hahaha, I don't think your followers will ever get tired of your charming outfit posts. After all, what you wear is just what I want to be wearing too, lol. It is very interesting to know that you listen to post-rock songs, I really need to google this and find out. I think you have a really awesome wardrobe and I really do love the silhouette of your blue dress. Thank you for sharing lovely :)
