Depois de ter reclamado que a Celle não me taggeia nunca em nada (HAHAHAH), fui taggeada para fazer esse questionário sobre músicas. Sei que semana passada já fiz um parecido, mas como hoje o Fiercekrieg está completando 4 aninhos, achei que seria interessante fazer um post mais pessoal e sobre algo que é super importante pra mim: música. Sou do tipo que ouve música 24/7, cheguei a estudar alguns instrumentos e também há uns anos consegui ter a oportunidade de começar a tocar em festas. Fora isso, por um tempo mantive um programa de rádio online, no qual iniciei minhas seleções de witch house - que renderam até um projeto com uma das minhas bandas preferidas, a Mircalla - e que continuo publicando no Mixcloud. A foto de cima é, justamente, uma das Muscles Cavern que toquei. Então, vamos às perguntas.

After complaining to Celle that she never tags me for nothing (HAHAHA), I was tagged to answer this quiz about music. I know I already did something like that last week, but as today is Fiercekrieg's birthday (4 years already!), I thought it would be interesting to post something more personal and about one thing that is totally important for me: music. I'm that kind of person who listens to music 24/7. I had studied some instruments and some years ago I also had the opportunity to start DJing in parties. Moreover, I kept an online radio program, where I started to make my witch house selections - they even made possible a feature project with one of my favorite bands, Mircalla - and I keep publishing them at Mixcloud. Uma música que te lembre um momento bom: The Smashing Pumpkins - Disarm
A song that reminds you of a good moment

Não existe exatamente um motivo para eu relacionar essa música com algum momento especial. De vez em quando, bem raramente, tocava Smashing Pumpkins na rádio rock daqui do interior (103,9 ou 89 em São Paulo)... e era ou 1979 ou Disarm. E, por falar nisso, estou super empolgada pra ver a banda no Lolla - mesmo que a formação não seja mais a mesma e eu nem tenha gostado dos últimos lançamentos.

There's no particular reason to relate this song to any special moment. Sometimes, very rarely, they played Smashing Pumpkins on the local rock radio... it was either 1979 or Disarm. Speaking of which, I'm so excited to see them live at Lollapalooza - even though the band members aren't the same and I didn't like the last releases.

A song that defines your life

Eu amo Have a Nice Life e isso já nem é mais novidade para quem acompanha o blog. Ultimamente eu tenho me identificado bastante com essa música, Hunter, tanto que até fiz esse fanvideo com cenas de três filmes do Lars Von Trier, um dos meus diretores preferidos. Antes, certamente eu escolheria uma música do Plastic Tree, por exemplo Planetarium ou Gentou Kikai, mas nem ouço mais a banda direito.

I love Have a Nice Life and this is no news for those who follow the blog. Lately I've been relating myself so much with this song, Hunter, that I even made this fanvideo with scenes from three movies by Lars Von Trier, one of my favorite directors. Years before I would certainly pick a song by Plastic Tree, for instance Planetarium or Gentou Kikai, but I don't even listen to this band so much anymore.

A song that makes you dance at parties

Faz muito tempo que não vou pra nenhuma festa, mas eu amo a Muscles Cavern. É o único lugar em que eu posso ouvir coisas novas e witch house, que é um estilo que definitivamente me faz querer dançar - um dos únicos atualmente. Eu poderia colocar alguma outra música da M‡яc∆ll∆, porque também adoro o trabalho deles, mas esse remix da Charlie XCX da Blvck Ceiling é incrível.

There's been a long time since I don't go to a party, but I love Muscles Cavern. It's the only place where I can listen to new stuff and witch house, which is a genre that totally makes me feel like dancing - one of the only currently. I could choose some song by M‡яc∆ll∆, because I love their work, but this Charlie XCX remix by Blvck Ceiling is amazing.

A song that was the score of a relationship

Meu namorado sempre ouviu bastante power/symphonic metal e quando começamos a namorar, em 2006, eu também ouvia mais metal do que hoje em dia. Essa foi uma música que ele me apresentou e eu gostava bastante, principalmente por causa do finalzinho: "I've been fighting for my soul and sometimes it takes a toll. Hope one day we'll understand what it means to hold in hands. What we call a fantasy, but it's nothing but a key to the world that now I'm in, that we call a wicked dream". Mas também tinha a A poem for the firmament do Elvenking.

Olha, choraaaar chorar eu só choro quando to mal e então eu procuro uma música pra ouvir - aí sempre é alguma do Have a Nice Life ou alguma outra que esteja relacionada a alguma coisa ou pessoa ou momento. Eu ouvi muito Tristania quando eu era mais nova, com uns 14 ou 15 anos. E essa música sempre me tocou bastante tanto quanto Beauty of the Beast, do Nightwish - aliás, o Century Child me marcou muito também. Fora isso, eu poderia também falar qualquer uma do Radiohead, tipo Fake Plastic Trees, True Love Waits, Talk Show Host ou então alguma do Placebo, tipo Sleeping with ghosts.

Actually I just cry when I'm not well, so I search for some songs to listen to - then it's always something by Have a Nice Life or anything related to something, someone or some moment. I listened a lot to Tristania when I was younger, like 14 or 15. This song had a huge importance in my life as much as Beauty of the Beast by Nightwish - by the way, Century Child was an important album for me too. Beside these ones, I could also mention anything by Radiohead, such as Fake Plastic Trees, True Love Waits, Talk Show Host or maybe something by Placebo, like Sleeping with ghosts.

Nossa, faz um tempão que eu não uso toque de celular, só deixou no vibra call mesmo. Mas acho que essa ficaria legal :) Eu gosto de usar músicas que vão crescendo como toque, assim não me mata do coração quando alguém me ligar HAHA

Wow, there's been a long time since I don't use ringtones, only vibra call. But I think this one would feel good. :) I like songs that increase as ringtone, so it won't scare the hell out of me when someone calls HAHA

Uma música que você gostaria de tatuar: Chelsea Wolfe - The Waves Have Come
A song that you would like to tattoo

Na realidade, se eu fosse tatuar alguma coisa, provavelmente seria algo relacionado a Have a Nice Life - por exemplo a palavra Deathconsciousness, que é título de um dos álbuns deles. Para mim, tem muito significado... ou então seria um trecho da música Hunter, que eu já coloquei aqui. Mas para não repetir, eu também já tive vontade de tatuar "The pain forms a circle" em formato circular por causa dessa música da Chelsea Wolfe.

In fact, if I would tattoo something, it would probably be related to Have a Nice Life - for instance the word Deathconsciousness, which is the title of one of their albums. For me, it has a lot of meaning... or maybe I would pick some verses from Hunter, the song I already mentioned above. But to avoid repeating, I also wanted to tattoo "The pain forms a circle" in a circle form after this song by Chelsea Wolfe.

Eu fui conhecer essa música deles quando fui no show que teve em SP, em 2011. Achei muito sexy HAHAHA... fui eu que fiz esse vídeo também, com cenas do filme Bound.

I first heard this song when I attended to their show in São Paulo, in 2011. I thought it was really sexy HAHAHA... and it was me who made this fanvideo too, with scenes from Bound.

A song that you're currently addicted to

Há umas semanas, eu simplesmente não conseguia parar de ouvir essa música. O álbum novo tá simplesmente maravilhoso! E eu também era viciada na Kill da iamamiwhoami.

Some weeks ago, I just couldn't stop listening to this song. The new album is just awesome! I was also addicted to iamamwhoami's song Kill.

Uma música que faz as pessoas lembrarem de você: Lana Del Rey - Born to Die
A song that makes people remember of you

Não necessariamente essa música, mas alguma da Lana Del Rey. Algumas amigas minhas me relacionam à Lana, talvez por causa das coroas de flores que eu usei para umas fotos ou então talvez porque eu chorei feito uma desgraçada quando ela cantou isso no Planeta Terra ano passado HAHAHAHAHA... fora que ela também é de Câncer e com ascendente em Leão :P

Not necessarily this song, but something by Lana Del Rey. Some girlfriends relate me to Lana, maybe because of the flower tiaras I wore during some shoots or because I cried so much while she was singing to it during her concert at Planeta Terra last year HAHAHAH... also because she's a Cancer with ascendant Leo. :P
