Oi! Tinha comentado que tinha ficado doente e já tinha recuperado, mas no fim da semana me deu uma recaída de novo. Espero que agora já esteja curada de vez... Mal fui na academia e, apesar de ter me inscrito para uma aula na segunda, to mais afim de ir a um café para a reunião mensal de filosofia que rola aqui em Lincoln. O problema é que certamente vou chegar atrasada, mas acho que vou tentar a sorte. Preciso de algo para animar, algo para me fazer pensar. Comprei um Kindle nessa última Black Friday, mas ainda estou lendo um livro impresso que meu amigo emprestou - acho que já comentei isso, não? Bom, que seja. Perdi também os shows do The Prodigy por falta de ânimo e de saúde, mas que se foda.

Hey. I mentioned that I got sick and then recovered, but at the end of last week I got bad again. Now I hope I'm finally ok... I almost didn't go to the gym and, even though I have signed up for a class on Monday, I guess I will skip it to attend to a meeting in a café here in Lincoln. It seems they have a monthly meeting to talk about philosophy. The thing is, I'll probably be late, but I'll take the chance. I need to do something about my life, I need to get excited again and have something to think about. I bought a Kindle on this last Black Friday, but I'm still reading a printed book a friend lent me - I think I have mentioned here already, no? Anyhow... I also missed The Prodigy gigs for a lack of energy and health, but fuck that.

Esse casaco tem salvado minha vida em vários dias que tá muito frio e chovendo. Aqui não dá para usar guarda-chuva sempre, porque o vento é muito forte e não há guarda-chuva que aguente... então o jeito é usar casacos pesados para o frio/vento e impermeável para a chuva/neve. Ainda não começou a nevar aqui, mas já teve um dia que amanheceu com gelo na grama do parque aqui perto e também nos carros. Isso me deixou bem mais feliz, mas foi passageiro... Vamos ver. Aparentemente aqui não neva muito, mas... quem sabe, né? Em 2013, parece que nevou mais do que o normal e vi umas fotos bem bonitas. Por enquanto são só ventos de quase 100km/h. Ridículo. Tem vezes que não dá nem para andar ou parar em pé...

This coat has been saving my life on cold and rainy days. Here we don't use umbrellas too often, because the wind is too strong and umbrellas can't afford it... so the solution is using heavy and dry coats for the rain and snow. It didn't start snowing here, but there was a morning when I saw some ice over the grass in the park nearby, and also over the cars. This made me very happy, but it didn't last much... Let's see. It seems it doesn't snow much here, but... who knows? In 2013, it seems that snow was heavier than the average and I saw some beautiful photos. For now we only have winds at 100km/h. Ridiculous. Sometimes I'm not even able to walk properly or stand still...

Sobre música e filmes, comecei a assistir Jessica Jones. Legal, mas ainda não entrei muito na vibe. E comecei a ouvir loucamente uma outra banda da mesma gravadora da Black Wing e Deafheaven. As letras são tosquérrimas, parecem haikais pra aula de biologia, mas as melodias da Botanist são sensacionais. Gosto muito de como eles usam o piano nas músicas.

Regarding movies and music, I started watching Jessica Jones. Cool, but I'm not very much in the vibe yet. And I started listening a lot to a band from the same record of Black Wing and Deafheaven. The lyrics suck big time, as they look like haiku for biology classes, but the melodies by Botanist are amazing. I really like how they use the piano in their songs.
