A verdade verdadeira é que eu já passei do status falida para "pastel de vento sem massa, só recheio", mas não consigo deixar de ir nas festas (eu digo feira, mas enfim) do livro que acontecem na USP. Não sou do tipo que fica compartilhando memes e coraçõezinhos sobre ler livros e escrever ficção ou artigos acadêmicos, mas eu gosto bastante de dar uma lida antes de dormir. No entanto, há mais de um ano, eu acho, não tenho mais conseguido ler ficção - a não ser quando são contos e normalmente são trabalhos nacionais e os quais normalmente me fazem confirmar a vontade de continuar na teoria. O que eu tenho me esforçado é para ler tudo que tem publicado em livro do Vilém Flusser, filósofo tcheco-brasileiro que conheci ainda na graduação, e também comprar tudo que estiver disponível. Então, nessa festa do livro eu comprei os dois últimos lançamentos e mais alguns que estavam faltando para a coleção. Uma pena só que a Cosac Naify não fez ainda a reimpressão de Mundo Codificado e a Annablume tá com Língua e Realidade esgotado.

The truth is that I'm way beyond the bankrup status - I'm more like a "pie made of wind but without dough, only the filling", but I can't avoid going to the book parties (I prefer fairs, but anyway) that happen in University of São Paulo. I'm not that kind of person that shares memes and hearts about reading books and writing fiction or papers, but I like to read before sleeping. However, there's been more than a year that I've been not able to read fiction - except short stories that are usually written by national authors and which also keep assuring me why I feel more like reading theory. What I've been trying to is reading everything by Vilém Flusser, a Czech-Brazilian philosopher, that was already published around here. I heard about him the first time when I was at college and since then I try to buy everything that is available too. So in this book fair I bought the two last releases and some others that were missing in my collection.

Luckily but also unluckily, the publisher Vozes joined this last book fair. They are responsible for publishing Jung's work here in Brazil. I wanted so much to buy everything, but it was too expensive even with the obligatory 50% minimum discount - and mostly the publishers stay at the 50% off, in the end. So I bought only two books that I had already read, but not entirely, during my masters: Alchemic Studies and Mysterium Coniunctionis (the third book), also a new and little one that costed me something like US$4, about the shadow (About feelings and the shadow).

Outro lançamento da Annablume que eu resolvi comprar foi o livro A Ficção de Deus, de Gustavo Bernardo. Ele já escreveu o prefácio de alguns livros do Flusser, como o A Dúvida, e também já organizou coletâneas sobre o filósofo - por exemplo, essa que eu comprei (A filosofia da ficção de Vilém Flusser). Eu tinha lido uma resenha sobre a obra e fiquei interessada... já comecei a ler, aliás. É muito legal! Parte das três premissas de o personagem Deus das obras de ficção, a ficção de Deus construída pela humanidade e a ficção da realidade construída pelo próprio Deus. É bem interessante e serve tanto para quem crê quanto para quem tem dúvida ou certeza de que ele existe!

Another book released by Annablume that I decided to buy was "The God's Fiction", by Gustavo Bernardo. He already wrote the preface of some books by Flusser, such as "The Doubt", and also organized books about the philosopher - for example, this one that I bought (The philosophy of fiction in Vilém Flusser). I have read a review about this book and I became interested on it... By the way, I even started reading yet. It's very nice! Some of the themes discussed are the character God in fiction, the fiction of God created by humanity and the fiction of reality created by God. It's quite interesting and I would recommend the book both for those who believe in God, those who doubt and those who are certain that he doesn't exist.

Então aqui está minha pequena pilha de livros do Flusser ou sobre o Flusser. Eu já li quase todos, faltando só os livros que eu comprei agora (Gestos, Ser Judeu, A Escrita e A filosofia da ficção de Vilém Flusser), além de A História do Diabo e O Universo das Imagens Técnicas - mas já dei uma olhada nos dois! Normalmente eu não leio livros inteiros, só vou dando uma olhada nos capítulos que me interessam e se eu gostar da escrita/tema, leio tudo pra absorver melhor.

So here is my little stack of books by Flusser or about Flusser. I already read almost everything, except the ones I bought recently (Gestures, Being a Jew, The Writing and The philosophy of fiction in Vilém Flusser), also The History of the Devil and The Universe of the Technical Images - though I had already checked both of them! Usually I don't read books entirely, I just take a look at the chapters that interest me and if I like the writing style/theme, I read everything to better absorve the content.

Então, é isso. Acho que já termino meu ano sem achar nenhum vestido ou macacão branco decente pra usar na festa de réveillon e provavelmente também sem comprar mais nada, especialmente roupas. #chatiadíssima hahahaha... Ao menos vou ter muita coisa mesmo pra ler :)

So this is it. I believe I already finished my year without any good white dress or jumpsuit to wear during the New Year's, and I probably won't buy anything more, especially clothes. #vsosad hahahah... At least I have a lot of things to read. :)
