Fim de semana de Halloween, hora extra no trabalho, muito doce e pouca academia haha.. E o pior que essa semana também não vou ter muito tempo pra isso. Mas finalmente tive a oportunidade de ver como é um dia das bruxas fora do Brasil e fiquei bem surpresa. Primeiro porque as pessoas do trabalho resolveram organizar de ir fantasiado e levar docinhos, fora o cozinheiro, que também fez um buffet de Halloween com hambúrguer, spaghetti, fritas e torta de abóbora! Fiquei muito feliz pelo último item, porque estava procurando para comprar e não achava em lugar nenhum.

What a weekend! Halloween, overtime, so many sweets and too few gym hahah... The worst part is that I really won't have much time during this week for exercising either. But I finally had the opportunity to experience a Halloween out of Brazil and I was very surprised. First because some people from my work decided to organize a themed day with costumes, sweets and the cook did a special Halloween buffet with hamburger, spaghetti, chips and pumpkin pie! I was so happy about the latter one, because I was really trying to find somewhere to buy one and I couldn't find any.

Antes de eu continuar falando do Halloween, alguns comentários sobre as roupas. Eu amei essa camisa desde que recebi ela... porém, tenho que dizer: no segundo uso, quando eu estava vestindo, ouvi um estalo e descobri que tinha aberto um buraco na costura do caminho para os botões. Fiquei extremamente chateada por isso. Tive que levar na costureira e ela mesma disse que o tecido era má qualidade. Apesar disso, gosto muito dela e acho super confortável, mas infelizmente não é um produto bom. Já, por outro lado, conheci a YOINS recentemente e fiquei maravilhada pelos produtos deles. Eles têm muita coisa linda, incluindo acessórios. Meu anel de cristal quebrou e eu fiquei órfã, então escolhi esse ajustável, que daí posso usar em qualquer dedo de qualquer mão (sim, porque meus dedos são desiguais haha).

Before I keep talking about Halloween, some comments about the clothing. I loved this shirt since the very first day when I received it... But I need to say it: the second time I wore it, right when I was getting dressed, I heard a sound and I found out I had opened a hole right beside the buttons. I was extremely upset. Needed to go to a seamstress and even she said that the fabric doesn't have a high quality. However, I still like this shirt very much and it's very comfortable... it's just unfortunate that it's not a good product. On the other hand, there's this store YOINS. I knew them recently and I was amazed by their catalogue. They have so many beautiful things, including the accessories. My crystal ring broke and I really missed it, so I picked this adjustable one, so I can wear it in any finger of any hand (yes, because my fingers aren't all the same alright haha).

Esse fim de semana também me deu a louca e resolvi cortar a franja de novo. Sei lá, não estava me sentindo bem. Não me sentia eu mesma... Achei que cortar o cabelo poderia resolver e fiz isso sozinha. É bem fácil, se você já teve franja curta, porque daí fica aparente qual é a quantidade de cabelo que precisa ser cortada. Eu só precisei torcer a mecha e passar a tesoura, depois só ajustar aos pouquinhos. Mas não sei se foi a melhor escolha. O outono/inverno aqui é muuuuito úmido, então o frizz é absurdo. Vou ter que começar a pesquisar produtos para controle... hoje comprei um hairspray para finalização e anti umidade, mas ainda vou precisar de mais uns produtos para selar os fios. De qualquer maneira, fiquei feliz e agora me sinto de volta para mim mesma. :)

This weekend I also went nuts and decided to cut my bangs again. I don't know, I wasn't feeling well. Wasn't feeling myself... So I thought that cutting my hair would help, so I cut it myself. It's very easy, in case you had bangs before, so you just need to grab the strand, twist it and cut with scissor. You'll still need to make some adjustments afterwards, but it's pretty straightforward. I just don't know if this was the best decision, because the autumn/winter here is suuuuuper moist, so the frizz I get is absurd. I will need to research about products that could help me with that, although I have bought a hairspray today. It is for protecting the hairstyle from humidity, but I'm guessing it's not the only thing I'll need to use to seal my hair. In any case, I got very happy and I feel like I'm back to myself again. :)

Bom, sobre o Halloween, eu combinei com meus amigos brasileiros de ir comer o black burger no BK e ir à sessão fechada de Alien com o povo do trabalho. Foi a quarta vez que assisti, mas foi divertido. Fiquei me perguntando... depois de assistir Prometheus, e ter pensado em toda aquela história da gosma preta ter dado origem ao homem/engenheiro/alien, me perguntei: por que o alien não mata o gato da tripulação da Nostromo? O Jones fica sozinho junto com o alien umas duas ou três vezes e ele sobrevive numa boa. Outra coisa que eu não lembrava é que eles chamam a nave de mãe, que é um tema que retorna principalmente em Alien: Ressurrection. Não é algo que eu vou tirar um tempo pra escrever, porque já fiz um textão gigante sobre Prometheus, mas enfim hehe.. só pra dizer que pra seguir a onda de filme do Ridley Scott, me fantasiei de Pris após cortar a franja. Uma pena que praticamente ninguém reconheceu.

Well, about Halloween. I set with my Brazilian friends that we should go to try the black burger on Burger King and go to the Alien screening with our co-workers. It was the fourth time I watched it, but it was fun. I was asking myself... after watching Prometheus and knowing all that story about the black goo being the origin of men/engineer/alien, I asked myself: why doesn't the alien kill Nostromo's cat? There are at least two or three moments in which he is alone with the alien and he survives. Another thing that I didn't remember is that the crew calls the ship "mother", which is a theme that will be reminded again in Alien: Ressurrection. It's not something that I will reserve some time to write about, because I already wrote a huge text about Prometheus, but anyway hehe... And in order to follow the Ridley Scott themed night, I wore a last-time Pris costume after cutting my fringe back. Just a shame that almost no one recognized it.

Não sei por que tanta gente reclamou do black burger. Eu nem senti gosto nenhum... foi bem normal, como um whoper qualquer.. mas o pumpkin latte do Burger King é simplesmente nojento. Tem gosto de água suja, urgh. É bem mais barato que o do Starbucks, claro, mas é horrendo. Hahah

I don't know why so many people complained about the black burger. I didn't even feel any taste... it was pretty normal, like any other whoper... but Burger King's pumpkin latte is simply disgusting. Tastes like dirty water, urgh. It's way much cheaper than Starbucks, of course, but it's horrendous haha...

Então, é isso aí... vou ver se posto finalmente o post sobre a Grécia nessa quarta. Mas não prometo nada :P
