Look do dia: Sporty biker

Ois! Fim de semana de descanso e gasto, como sempre hehe.. Mas tá de boa. Precisava descansar e desencanar um pouco de tudo, já tava querendo explodir essa cidade. Finalmente conheci a biblioteca e aproveitei para alugar um livro, apesar de ainda não ter terminado o do Murakami que comprei há umas semanas. Eu ia tentar ler outra obra do Kafka, mas resolvi conhecer a escrita de Albert Camus. Por enquanto, estou achando O Estrangeiro chato pra cacete, odiando o narrador, mas cheguei na "parte dois" do livro e estou torcendo para o personagem parar de ser escroto hahah... Inclusive, foi essa roupa que eu usei para ir à biblioteca e fazer compras no centro. Infelizmente não foi a melhor escolha, por causa da chuva que rolou o dia inteiro, mas estava com saudade de usar blusa de alcinha. :)

Hey! This weekend was all about resting and spending money, as always haha.. But it's fine. I needed to rest and forget about things for a while, because I was almost exploding this damn city already. I finally had the chance to know the public library and then I borrowed a new book, although I didn't finish Murakami's yet. I wanted to try another Kafka, but I decided to know Albert Camus work. For now, I've been disgusted by The Outsider and I'm hating the narrator, but I just arrived to the "Part Two", so I have faith this is going to change and get better haha... By the way, this was the outfit I wore to go to the library and to buy some stuff in the city centre. Unfortunately, it wasn't the best choice ever, because it was raining all day long, but I missed wearing spaghetti tops. :)

Recebi essa jaqueta há uma semana mais ou menos. Eu não trouxe a minha de couro para cá porque, além de ela ser muito pesada, eu achava muito grande e não dava certo quando queria combinar com uma roupa que precisava de uma jaqueta mais justinha. Por isso, resolvi testar a loja Fashionmia importando essa jaqueta de couro sintético. Existem couros sintéticos e couros sintéticos, como vocês já devem saber. Esse não tem exatamente a melhor aparência e textura do mundo, mas achei que vestiu muito bem e um bom produto, apesar da qualidade não ser ótima. Estava vendo, por exemplo, as jaquetas de couro sintético da Primark e é tudo mesmo nessa linha - comparável a lojas de departamento.

I received this jacket around one week ago. I didn't bring my leather one, because besides being heavy, it is too big for some outfits that I needed fitter outwear. For this reason, I decided to try Fashionmia and getting this synthetic leather jacket. There are different kinds of synthetic leather, as you may already know. This one is not exactly the best in its looks and texture, but the jacket fits well and it is a good product, even if the material is not the best in quality. I was seeing, for instance, the synthetic leather jackets available on Primark and they are basically the same - you can easily compare this piece with those available on department stores.

Bom, eu não sei se é aqui é exatamente um bom lugar para comentar esses lances e que todo mundo já tá falando sobre isso durante o fim de semana inteiro, mas essas tragédias recentes realmente são assustadoras. A gente nunca pensa que pode acontecer com a gente ou, se acontecer algo relativo, a gente pensa que dá um jeito. Acho que o que mais me chama a atenção na histeria causada por esses eventos é tanto a questão de as pessoas morrendo e cidades sendo destruídas quanto o fato de que elas nos servem como um alerta de que, sim, todos nós vamos morrer e isso pode acontecer a qualquer momento, da maneira mais trivial e imprevisível. Como eu estou sempre viajando pela Inglaterra para ir em shows, me assustou demais imaginar que, de repente, enquanto eu estiver assistindo a alguma banda, pode acontecer o que rolou em Paris. E aparentemente Londres está sendo visada já. Enfim... É um sentimento de impotência que paira mesmo.

Well, I know this is not the best place to comment about these things and that everyone was already doing that all the weekend long, but these recent tragedies are equally frightening. We never think it will happen to us or, if something happens, we always think we'll manage. What calls my attention about this hysteria caused by the recent events is both the problem that there are people dying and cities being destroyed (in Brazil, there was a flood that destroyed several cities to an extention that would take half England) and that they are all a reminder that, yes, we are all going to die and this could happen at any time, in the most trivial and unpredictable ways. As I'm always traveling around England for gigs, it made me very scared that, all of the blue, it could happen the same that happened in Paris with me. And it seems that London is already under siege. Anyway... It's just a feeling of impotency that keeps haunting.

    OMGosh, Lídia. Cada vez que venho aqui vejo um cabelo mais perfeito. O que mais amei foi a jaqueta (quero um jaco perfeito desses pra mim, haha), mas a combinação do tênis com a calça te deu um ar bem rebel, despojado, tudo a ver com seu corte.. Enfim, perfeição. <3

    I like the way you described your feeling about the recent tragic events as A feeling of impotency that keeps haunting. Yes, it is really deeply disturbing that we can't choose how we go to the other side and life sure feels fleeting with the knowledge that it can be taken quite senselessly and brutally. Your outfit is fab, as always. Sporty biker - I could wear this! :)

    Achei a jaqueta bem bonita! Pena a qualidade não ser das melhores. Mas já é um quebra-galho. rs
    Sobre as tragédias, realmente.. além de muito triste, nos faz pensar como nossa vida é frágil.. moro em Minas, onde as barragens romperam, e fico pensando, se essas barragens estivessem viradas pro lado oposto, talvez poderia ter sido comigo essa tragédia toda...
    O negócio é aproveitar a vida ao máximo mesmo porque imprevistos podem e vão acontecer...
