Look do dia: Plain white

Oi-ois! Não vou dizer "segunda-feira de novo" haha... Novamente não trabalhei nesse fim de semana, então o que me restou foi torrar dinheiro. :P Comprei um tênis da Nike para a viagem que vou fazer no mês que vem e também para testar essa nova moda de usar trainers com roupas do dia-a-dia. Confesso que não estou ainda muito acostumada, mas resolvi tentar - e isso fica pra outro post também. Hoje eu vou falar de algumas peças que recebi há um tempinho. Finalmente tentei comprar co-ords, isto é, conjuntos prontos vendidos em sites de compra. Na real, eu já tinha comprado co-ords antes, mas de saia e blusa. Normalmente, o que acontece é que eu só acabo usando uma das peças ou então não as duas juntas. Esse é mais um caso.

Hiya! I'm not saying "Monday again" this time haha... But I didn't work this weekend too, so I ended up spending tons of money. :P I bought a pair of Nike trainers to me, since next month I'll travel and also because I want to try this fashion trend over these shoes. To be honest, I'm not really used to it yet, but I wanted to give a chance - and this will be mentioned in a future post. Today I'm talking about some items I received some time ago. I finally tried to order co-ords, that is, two pieces being sold together on an online fashion store. Actually, I have already bought co-ords before, but top + skirt instead. Usually I just use one of the pieces or maybe not both together. And this is another example.

Tipo, eu comprei esse conjunto XL porque eu sabia que L ia ficar curto e/ou apertado. Porém, quando fui experimentar o shorts, juro por deus que me senti uma salsicha HAHA.. Eu sei que engordei um pouquinho (chocolate aqui é muito barato, socorro), mas é porque o elástico da cintura, de acordo com o site, mede de 56 a 70 cm. Sério mesmo? Que santa que usa XL asiático (aka 42 no Brasil) tem cintura de 56cm? A sorte é que cobre com a blusa, mas daí não me sinto confortável de usar o conjunto sem meia-calça também, até porque é super transparente. O tecido é maravilhoso, confortável e fresquinho, parece até pijama... mas achei difícil de usar sem meia. Talvez se eu fosse bem mais magra... :P

I mean, I bought this co-ord size XL because I knew L would be too short or too tight. However, when I tried the shorts, I swear to God that I felt like a sausage HAHA.. I know I gained a bit of weight (chocolate is so cheap here, halp), but according to the website, the elastic on the waist measures 56-70cm. Like, seriously? What blessed soul that wears Asian size XL (UK 12) has a waist of 56cm? Lucky enough, you still have the top to cover everything, but I still don't feel comfortable to wear this co-ord without tights - also because the shorts are really transparent. The fabric is amazing, really comfortable and fresh, it even feels like pajamas.. but I find it too hard to wear without tights. Maybe if I were really, really thinner... :P


Eu esqueci completamente de fotografar o top, mas pretendo usá-lo em outros looks, então juro que mostro aqui. Gostei bastante dele! É uma opção mais "agressiva", já que tem mais tiras e também argolas de metal. Acho que para quem curte um look mais pesado, goth/streetwear, essa é uma peça ideal. Mas, novamente, é um bralet, então não tem bojo e pode marcar dependendo da peça.

I completely forgot to take a picture of the bra, but I still want to wear it with other outfits, so I promise I'll show it better on another chance. I really liked it! It's a more "aggressive" option, since the item has more stripes and also metal rings. I think it's perfect for those who like a heavier outfit, more goth/streetwear oriented. But, again, it's a bralet, so it doesn't have bulge and it can get kinda showy.

Por último, ainda tem essa bolsa lateral. Sinceramente? Eu não gostei do material. Tudo bem que é couro sintético, mas é tão molengo... Também achei a tira muito fina. Prefiro usar como carteira, mas não foi com essa função que escolhi esse modelo. Eu acabei usando quando fui no show do Mind.in.a.box no fim do mês passado e foi extremamente útil, porque cabe todas as coisas que preciso mais urgente (carteira, celular e até guarda-chuva) e tem um design bonito, mas é evidentemente uma peça barata, sabem? Não vejo problema nenhum em comprar coisas baratas, na verdade até prefiro porque sou super mão de vaca haha.. mas às vezes prefiro gastar um pouco mais para poder ter uma peça que me agrade mais tanto em quesito estético quanto em qualidade.

And last, there's this shoulder bag. Honestly? I didn't like its material. It's fine to be made of synthetic leather, but it feels so mushy... I also think the strap is too thin. I would rather use this item as a wallet instead of a shoulder bag, but this wasn't the reason why I chose it. Still, I used it for Mind.in.a.box concert last month and it was extremely useful, because I could put all the most important things that I needed (wallet, phone and even an umbrella) and it has a nice design, although it looks clearly cheap, you know? I don't see any problems in buying cheap stuff, I even prefer to do this because I'm extremely penny-pincher haha... but sometimes I choose spending more money in order to have something that I like more, both aesthetically and regarding its quality.

    eu nem preciso dizer que adoro quando deixa textão de comentário!! eu concordo muito com você sobre manter no lazer e muito prazeroso algo que amamos fazer. Muita gente se engana ao achar que "trabalhar com o que amamos" é fácil, muitas vezes é ao contrário e voce precisa continuar afirmando pra si mesmo que ama aquilo pra não desistir. nem sempre monetizar seu lazer é o melhor caminho, tme coisas que devem ficar sem ser obrigadas...

    sobre seu look nem preciso dizer que gostei bastante da combinação e seria um co-ord q eu usaria, pena q gente, XL?! quando li nem acreditei q vc precisou pedir um XL, pra mim seria impossível comprar algo nessa loja entao ne :((((((

      Na verdade, depende muito do produto! Vc sempre tem que conferir as medidas... eu não compro calça nunca porque além das medidas de quadril serem minúsculas, eu nem sei se elas estão realmente certas hahah

    Soft mushy bag, I see. But in the picture, it looks lovely. And how is your legs sausage-like, girl? You have not seen mine then, hahaha! I think the stripes are lovely on you and it must be cold over there so tights work with the shorts. Here, it's too hot for tights! But there are mosquitoes around, so shorts alone will not do, but still wearable. Your hair's looking good! =D xx

    Mas enfim, sobre o look, eu adorei! Ficou parecendo quase um macaquinho. Achei super usável. E esse top deu aquele toque final pra deixar o look ainda mais legal. Adorei! ^^
