Hey! It's been a while since I wrote something customized here for the last time. I'm actually quite in conflict if I'm going to keep this blog for too long. I am tired of ootd posts and such, so I'm really choosing which items I want to receive and advertise here because it takes a lot of time/effort and I don't feel like having tons of things that don't fit me well or that I will never actually wear because I'm not even able to iron that. Anyways.
Hey. This is the last post featuring Zaful's products. I received this synthetic velvet top a couple of weeks ago and I say: it's SO BEAUTIFUL! I got a size L, which ended up a bit too large for my breasts, but as you already know, I like oversize clothes anyway and fixing straps is easy. But this top is super stylish. Most of the times I wear it on a more minimal combination - just some black trousers and the top, maybe some blazer or an overcoat if it's cold enough. However, temperatures are pretty high in Brazil yet, so that I faced a sunny day at my university with a temperature like 37ºC. It's just un-fucking-believable.
Hey all. It's been a long time since I posted an outfit here. I've been super busy and bored to get some time to photograph myself. I like to do that when I'm at my mother's, and when I'm here I'd rather spend my time sleeping/eating/petting my cat and not taking pictures of myself. But well, let's talk about this beautiful grey shirt I got from Zaful. It's the first time I work with them and their catalogue is rather cool. The clothes arrived fast here in Brazil and I didn't have any problems with the customs - and that was my biggest headache for the past few months.
Hey all. One more outfit for this week. It's some of the remaining things I have to review here and today I'm featuring this beautiful blouse I received from SheIn. I was really looking forward to having a piece like that. I saw my mother wearing a similar top and then I had the chance to got one for myself. Despite being made of chiffon, it's actually rather warm, so I use it mostly when it's windy here. Well, of course the temperatures in Brazil are different and even during winter we may have days with a temperature like 29ºC, so my bet is that in the North Hemisphere you would use this during a chilly spring day.
Hey all. A new outfit post here. I received this beautiful white vest from SheIn a couple of weeks ago, but only had the chance to take some pictures now that I'm back to my mother's house. I like to photograph here rather on my apartment in São Paulo - it's shorter there and I'm used to this corner. Speaking of which, we never used the fireplace lol... though the winter was a bit colder this year than the year before, we didn't really feel like lighting it up. Now it's getting warmer again, also because Sorocaba is warmer than São Paulo, so it feels like winter is definitely gone now.
So here we are with another outfit post. Today I'm featuring two Sammydress items, the white t-shirt and the geometric bag. It's funny because it really resembles of an Issey Miyake's design I saw in a store when I traveled to Vienna in 2013. The strangest thing is that the bag came with a tag with the name of the designer, so I'm really not sure if it's a fake or if they're selling an original with a cheaper price, since it costs less than $30 on their website. I mean, I'm not able to afford a real purse by Issey Miyake, but I also don't like to support fake stuff. I would rather buy a random bag with a nice style instead of buying something that is clearly copying and using the name of an artist. But I really don't know what's behind this piece, to be honest.
I guess this is my first review for a wig! I received this from Sammydress a while ago and I definitely loved it. I wasn't sure of what I was going to receive, since there was no real picture of the product on the website, but I decided to give it a try: it was going to look either gorgeous or simply terrible, and it turns out that it is indeed gorgeous!
Hey. One more week to go. I thought I was starting my PhD this week, but guess what? The university had a strike for a couple of months and now they'll be giving the remaining classes from the past semester. Fuck this shit. It would be cool to think "yeah, I'm gonna have more vacations," but there's no such thing for freelancers and later on I will need to keep going to the uni during December. Ugh. The good and crappy sides of studying in a public institution here in Brazil. Anyways, so today's outfit has some vintage/60s inspiration, combining both masculine and feminine worlds of that era: midi round skirt + bomber jacket.
Hey everyone. One more outfit for this long, long week. For some reason, time seems to flow slower this week, though I have plenty of things to do. I don't know why. In any case, I'd like to share with you this outfit I photographed for the blog. It includes a shirt I received from Sammydress some weeks ago. I really liked it. There's been a long time I don't wear any army green clothes, and this one is very comfortable - it turned up to be a bit too big for me, but it's ok because I like oversize clothes. I ordered a size L, by the way.
Hey everyone. Hope you're fine and starting your week with a good mood and good things to happen. As always, I'm busy af, but it's fine. The refurbishment finally ended here at my apartment, but there's tons, I mean TONS of things to do, to clean and to organize. It's like we're starting from zero again. Oh dear... But one got to do what you got to do, right? Last weekend I received this very cool metallic skirt from Yoins and I'm super happy that it fit - I chose a size UK 10, which is the one I used to buy when I was living in England - something like US 6 or a big shaped Brazilian 38 (or 39, if that luckily existed).
What a week!! :) Most of the times when I stay in São Paulo during the weekends I like to do a lot of things and enjoy all the events the city offers for you. Too bad the subway tickets are a bit expensive if you want to make a little tour around the city, but well... It was my birthday this week, on Wednesday, but I got cold and spent most of the day doing bureaucratic stuff for my enrollment to the PhD. Yes, it's definitely happening now! :) Afterwards I visited my relatives and went back to my mother's house to see my cat and recover my energies. Lucky enough I recovered until yesterday, when I joined a conference about virtual reality, in which I lectured about how science fiction can be inspiring (and has already inspired, in fact) scientific innovations. It was amazing!
